The Manly Warringah District Cricket Club was founded in 1878. It is the second-oldest existing district cricket club in New South Wales. The club was an inaugural member of the grade competition in 1893-94 and continues to participate in the Sydney grade cricket competition – the strongest competition of its type in the world. The club’s home ground and training venue is the picturesque Manly Oval. MWDCC has won the Club Championship five times in the last 17 years.
