There have been many wonderful players represent Queensland who were interstate or international imports and were well established before they played for the state. I've selected a team of "home-grown" players with the only contentious selection being Sam Trimble who, despite coming from Lismore, had only played grade cricket in NSW. Anyway I am allowed to be biased, Sam was my good mate, my opening partner and my first Queensland captain, I'm 75 years old and its my bloody team!
