Essendon Cricket Club Inaugural Hall of Fame Dinner - Saturday 4th February 2023
Season 2022/23 is Essendon Cricket Club’s 150th anniversary of establishment.
To celebrate this extraordinary milestone, the Committee, in consultation with several senior past players, has determined to establish a Hall of Fame, to recognise and celebrate the absolute best contributors of the ECC, over that period.
A gala dinner will be held on Saturday, 4th February 2023, at the Olympic Room, Melbourne Cricket Ground, to celebrate the 150th anniversary and to announce the inaugural members of the Essendon Cricket Club Hall of Fame.
Essendon has proudly produced many Victorian and Australian players, Ryder medalists and has of course, won VCA 1st XI premierships. Some of our highest performers across Premier / District cricket have not played First Class cricket, but have made huge contributions to the club, via their club performances.
It will be an exciting night and there is already much anticipation growing, as to who might be included in the first induction.
Selection criteria for elevation to the HOF has been determined by a subcommittee comprising of the President, another committee member, several past club players and the club historian.
The night will be a formal night, with lounge suit / evening wear dress code for the attendees.
Tickets are $195 per person, including dinner and drinks for the evening.
Club supporters and past players are encouraged to contact old teammates & clubmate's and arrange tables together, via a table captain.
Those seeking tickets on a single or pair basis will certainly be accommodated.
