What is your nickname?
I’ve got a few - Flynny, Thomo, Tiger, Flynno
What was your most memorable moment in junior cricket?
Winning the game against Met North, putting on 41 runs at the state titles in 2017 with our number 11 bat (Lachlan Gergits-Tett) for Capricornia scoring 86*.
Tell us briefly about your cricketing journey? Where you’ve played, clubs you’ve played and greatest cricketing achievement.
I was born and grew up in Rockhampton, QLD. I went to the Rockhampton Grammar School from 2008 - 2018 representing the First XI for 3 years. I was then picked in various representative teams including Capricornia and Queensland U15’s. I got offered a scholarship in 2018 to come down to Brisbane and continue my education at the Anglican Church Grammar School (Churchie). I captained the First XI there for 2 years (2019/2020). We toured South Africa early this year for 14 days and was a great experience. Whilst playing Grade Cricket at Valleys, I was picked in the U17 QLD team which we played a tournament in Mackay late last year. Currently playing 2nd Grade at Valleys.
What is your pre match routine?
There’s a fair bit to go through but the main 2 things are playing ‘The Man’ by Aleo Blacc in the morning before the game and making sure I have drunk a full bottle of water in the morning.
How do you amuse yourself on a plane flight?
Usually play music or download something on Netflix, does a job.
Which singer/band would you like to see perform live?
I’d like to see ‘Flume’ or ‘Shag Rock’ live, bangers.
What’s the one thing about you most people don’t know about?
That I have 3 (soon to be 4) beautiful nieces.
Who has been your funniest team mate?
I’ve played with some absolute characters but I’d have to say Michael Toolis takes the cake for this one, Christian Murphy close 2nd.
Who has been your most annoying team mate?
Also, a few, but can’t go past Reuben Burger.
Who was your childhood hero?
Scott Prince, ex Gold Coast Titans player and lightning McQueen.
Who was your favourite all-time cricketer?
Jacques Kallis, freak.
Who is the fastest bowler you’ve played against?
The bowling machine.
Who is the best spinner you’ve played against?
Nathan Hauritz
Who was the best batsman you played against?
Cooper Connolly, Western Australia.
Who are the next two batsman to make their debut for the Queensland Bulls in Shield cricket?
Tough question, I’d say most likely Jack Clayton and Corey Hunter.
What’s the best innings you’ve seen played in any game you’ve played throughout your playing days? If you could add a few words as to why it was the best
A kid in South Africa - didn’t catch the name but his temperament and ability to pick up any ball that was just barely off line and length and dispatch it into, nearly, the safari was incredible.

Getting around the lads, pre-game music.

The trip to South Africa - was a very good time - learnt a lot about myself and my cricket game.

What are the three things you’re looking forward to doing outside cricket?
Doing my University course, Travelling, Family Time.
