What’s the best innings you’ve seen played in any game you’ve played throughout your playing days? If you could add a few words as to why it was the best

Playing in the Kent East League (UK) against Whitstable at their home ground. They got 270 and we chased it 9 down. Wynnum Manlys Grayson Jones was playing and also my roommate at the time, scored 240* of the 270 required. It was unbelievable, he was ramping and switch hitting Kent Premier League bowlers every where

What do you enjoy most about playing cricket?

Playing with mates and getting stuck in the battle

What has been your most memorable moment in cricket?

My first A grade final in Emerald vs Springsure when I was 16. Chris O’Shea was our curator at the time. He’d taken the covers off the morning of the game and went off to the local TAB to put on his bets for the day when the council turned our sprinklers on and soaked the pitch.

We lost the toss and got sent in and bowled out for 108. In reply they were 1/48 when I got handed the ball. I took 5/7 off 8 and they were bowled out for around 70. It was just one of those days when the ball was on a string

What’s the best win you’ve been involved with?

Grand Final win against Rolleston CC. Martin Langan carrying his bat on a tough deck to win in the last over when we were in trouble very early

What are the three things you’re looking forward to doing outside cricket?

- I have ambitions of joining the Queensland Police Service

- More travelling once COVID restrictions have eased

- Playing more Golf
