Nick Cutler is Western Suburbs first grade opening batsman and first grade cap number 683. Prior to the start of the 2020/21 season Nick scored 2,743 runs at an average of 39.75 including 5 centuries

Nick has started the 2020/21 season in excellent form leading Western Suburbs to a successful run chase against UNSW (368) scoring 125 in round 2 as they won by 3 wickets

Getting to bat with one of my childhood idols Michael Clarke

Tom Pinson

Who is the best spinner you’ve played against?

Monty Panesar

Who played the best innings you’ve seen firsthand playing with or against?

Kurtis Patterson scored 167 not out against us at Hurstville oval and we had fast bowler Harris Rauf bowling and Kurtis was dispatching him to all parts of the ground. I’ve never seen someone hit the ball so clean.

Who are the two players in NSW Premier Cricket you’ve come to admire most in terms of skills and competitive spirit in the competitions you played?

One would be Jono Cook. I’ve played with Jono for a few years now and he’s always helped me and mentored me with my cricket. And the other is Josh Clark for the way he goes about his cricket and the professionalism he brings to the club, I’m always trying to learn from Josh.

Which singer/band would you like to see perform live?

I would of loved to see Michael Jackson if he was still around

Connor Blaxall

Who’s been the biggest influence on your career so far?

My mum and dad have definitely been my biggest supporters

Who are the three people in the world you’d love to have a chat to in person?

Muhammad Ali, Don Bradman, Ricky Ponting


What do you like to do to relax outside cricket?

Playing some golf with my mates or going to the pub for a few drinks

What’s your occupation?

I’m a grounds man and my company is Green Options

Do you have a favourite quote?

“Don’t count the days make the days count”

What would it mean to you to be selected for NSW?

Being selected to play for NSW would be like a dream come true I think everyone as a young kid wishes one day they can play for their state.
