Eastern Suburbs Cricket Club announces that 1st Grade Captain Jack Preddey will not be returning to play for the Dolphins in season 2022/23.
Jack has informed the club that he will be moving overseas to further his business ventures.
Jack’s contribution to ESCC since being named 1st Grade Captain ahead of the 2019/20 season has been invaluable.
On-field highlights include a match-winning 98 not against UNSW in Round 3 of 2021/22 which Angus Robson labelled as “one of the best innings I have ever seen”. Jack also played his 100th ESCC Grade Game last season against Hawkesbury.
ESCC would like to extend its special thanks to Jack for all his efforts whilst at the club and wishes him all the best with the next steps in his business career.
