I commenced my Queensland A-Grade cricket career with Sandgate/Redcliffe in 1963/64. Over the next 15 years I played 150 A-Grade games alongside the likes of Australian players Geoff Dymock, Trevor Hohns and Martin Kent. My best Sandgate/Redcliffe team from players I played with is as follows:
