It’s with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our President and cherished member Bernie Smith.
Bernie passed away peacefully earlier this morning at 61 years of age, surrounded by friends and family. Our deepest condolences go out to wife Helen and children Patrick, Rebecca and Martin.
Bernie has been an integral apart of the Mosman cricket club for over 20 years and has been instrumental in our growth and development, culminating in the 1st and 2nd grade premierships in the 21/22 season.
Bernie filled just about every role there is at a cricket club. He started off as Green Shield manager, progressing to Secretary, Treasurer and President of the MCC for the last six years.
Bernie you were an inspirational leader of our club and loved by all. You will be sorely missed from everyone in the cricketing community.
