Who is the best spinner you’ve played against?

I haven’t played against him, but Mitchell Swepson is the best spinner that I’ve have played with and fortunate to play a few games with him. It’s a challenge but a good one, every ball you feel like he’s going to beat the bat or create some sort of dismissal, so keeping to him is a great experience and good taste of first class cricket.

Who played the best innings you’ve seen firsthand playing with or against?

Lachlan Thompson - 2021 Sandgate Redcliffe v Western Suburbs

It was a must win game for us to advance into the quarter finals against a full stacked bowling line up. He got a big 100 which won us the game and one of the best innings I’ve seen.

How he came in early and set up his innings and then found a way to score runs all day was great to watch.

I’ve taken a lot of how he goes about batting and the way that he thinks. It’s nice to have senior players giving out that sort of advice.
