The Queensland Premier Cricket Awards were held on 9 April across all grades. University dominated the premiership in the top two grades while Northern Suburbs cleaned up in the lower grades. Wynnum/Manly went back to back in fifth grade to secure another premiership for the Sea Eagles.

Congratulations to Sunshine Coast for taking out the Spirit of Cricket Award and the Wynnum/Manly ladies for picking up that honour too. The Sunday Legends T20 competition was won by Sandgate/Redcliffe with Matt Goggin picking up his fifteenth premiership with the club. In the Over 40s, Ipswich/Logan veterans picked up a title for the Hornets.

Western Suburbs' Nick Purser once again cleaned up in Sixth Grade securing the bowling average with an impressive 7.69. In fifth grade, Keegan McLean top scored for Redlands with 155, while in 4th Grade, Luke Ronday from Wynnum/Manly top scored with 215. In Third Grade, Trent Kenny of Western Suburbs amassed 723 runs for the year and Tom Cramb, the uncanny spinner from Valley picked up the bowling average with 9.21. Regular 1st Grade player Jack Carty of University Queensland spent some time in Second Grade and top scored for the year with 186 while Christopher Hall of Ipswich/Logan was involved in 31 dismissals.

In the Katherine Raymont Shield, Tess Cooper from Sandgate/Redcliffe dominated with a top score of 138 and amassing 931 runs for the season. Lilly Mills, also from the Gators, picked up 28 wickets. The women's Second Grade premiership was secured by Sunshine Coast with Mikayla Wrigley starring throughout the season with a top score of 155 and putting together 449 runs. Sophie Vernyik was in the wickets all year picking up 28 in total.

The Bulls Masters First Grade competition was snapped up by the Peter Clarke/Scott Henry lead University Queensland. The John McKnoulty One Day winners were the John Buchanan coached Western Suburbs. Brad Murphy's Valley were impressive - dominating the T20 competition and went down to Adelaide where they competed in the NPT20 competition. Andrew Gode's 179 was a phenomenal innings for Valley in the T20 competition and is sure to be looked at for Big Bash honours next season.

The Damien Mullins Cup for overall champion club once again went to the dominant University Queensland who have set themselves up successfully both on and off the field - this was their ninth Club Championship over the past decade. Off the field they are well supported by key organisations like FDC Construction, GHD, Green Beacon Brewery, Pradella Property Group and Hall Chadwick Accountants.

The culmination of the awards saw Tess Cooper of Sandgate/Redcliffe win the Kath Smith Medal, while Jason Floros of Wynnum/Manly, the highly fancied winner before the night, take out the Peter Burge Medal after another successful Premier Cricket club season.
