What year were you born? 2002
What is your nickname? Walks
What was your most memorable moment in junior cricket? Going away for U12s Brisbane North with all my best mates on my first cricket tour was really enjoyable.
Tell us briefly about your cricketing journey? I started my junior cricket at Albany Creek from U9s to U12s then Sandgate/Redcliffe until U13s. Then I got an opportunity to play Lord Taverners at Toombul District Cricket Club as a 14 year old leg spinner. I can't decide between two cricketing achievements - I made my 1st Grade debut for Toombul at age 15. I also got selected in an U19 Australian cricket 4 match series against New Zealand leading up to the U19 cricket world cup - which was also a very exciting step in my cricketing journey.
What is your pre-match routine? I don't really have a pre-match routine - I just don't wear spikes in the warm-up - it's a good luck thing.
How do I amuse myself on a plane flight? Most definitely watching movies or sleeping
Which singer/band would you like to see perform live? Sticky Fingers
Who has been your funniest teammate? Will Prestwidge
Who was your childhood hero? Bradley Hogg
Who was your all time favourite cricketer? Shane Warne
Who is the fastest bowler you have played against? Jack Prestwidge
Who is the best spinner you have played against? Cameron Boyce
Who was the best batsman you have played against? Usman Khawaja
Who are the next two batsmen to debut for the Queensland Bulls in Shield cricket? Hugo Burdon and Jack Clayton
What is the best innings you have seen played in any game you have played throughout your playing days? The best innings I have ever seen was when Matthew Renshaw scored 360 not out in one day against Wynnum Manly and I was just running him drinks and gloves all day as I was batting at 9 and clearly wasn't needed to bat. It was just unbelievable to watch.
What do you enjoy most about playing cricket? Definitely the banter and mateship between all the boys around the club and playing 1st grade against some of the best players in the country is challenging and enjoyable.
What has been your most memorable moment in cricket? Probably winning my first U17 Lord Taverners competition in 2018 for Toombul District Cricket Club as captain of the team.
What is the best win you have been involved with? Probably earlier this season, we advanced to the quarter finals with a win against Wests and the first time we have been in a one day quarter final and beaten Wests in about 6 years or so. It was just a real team win where everyone contributed something towards winning - whether that be runs or wickets.
What are three things I do outside of cricket? Play a lot of golf, hang out with mates and binge watch Netflix
